She’s aided in her journey by Nigel (Stanly Tucci) and occasionally impeded by her fellow assistant Emily (Emily Blunt), navigating impossible demands and learning the ins and outs of fashion as she goes.

The movie is full of iconic lines that have become an indelible part of pop culture, stellar performances from the cast, including a breakthrough performance for Emily Blunt, and two Oscar nominations, for Best Costume Design and Best Actress for Streep (naturally).
