The Giant Man in the Pink Crown
The first time I saw a six-foot-six biker walk into Walmart wearing a plastic pink princess crown, I nearly dropped a roll of receipt paper.
I’ve seen customers argue over fifty-cent coupons.
I’ve seen people bring goats into the store.
Nothing prepared me for Troy “Mountain” Bridger.
The automatic doors slid open one Tuesday afternoon, and in walked the largest man I had ever seen.
Massive shoulders.
Leather vest covered in patches.
Heavy biker boots.
And sitting proudly on top of his head?
Bright pink.
Covered in fake jewels.
Then came the laughter.
Customers whispered.
Some openly pointed.
A few chuckled loud enough for everyone to hear.
One man muttered, “Well, that’s something you don’t see every day.”
Troy didn’t react.
Not even a little.
He simply grabbed a shopping cart and continued toward the clothing department.
