Lauren Bennett, ‘Party Rock Anthem’ singer, dead at age 37

Her death comes more than a decade after Simone’s death, which brought G.R.L.’s original line-up to an abrupt end. The group reformed in 2016 and continued to tour over the years, and as of 2021, planned to release new music.

She is survived by her six-year-old daughter, Harlow, whom she shared with dancer and “Footloose” actor Kenny Wormald.

Representatives for Bennett’s family have not released further details regarding her death.
