Gavin Newsom Steps In It Big Time – He Just Threatened President Trump Over…See more

James Woods said it plainly: “Reread the Supremacy Clause, you slithering reptile.” He’s right on the law. Federal authority over federal elections is not a suggestion. It is the supreme law of the land.
Newsom’s threat to prosecute federal officials following lawful presidential orders isn’t courage — it’s a tantrum dressed up as constitutionalism from a man whose own administration is currently under federal investigation.

And that context matters enormously. The FBI probe into Newsom’s inner circle is real. A cooperating witness wore a wire. His former chief of staff has been indicted on dozens of felony corruption charges. Newsom is not a governor protecting democracy. He is a politician desperate to control every lever of power in a state where the machinery that keeps him and his allies in office is now under a federal microscope.

This is also the same Newsom who responded to journalism exposing Medicaid fraud by pushing legislation to criminalize the journalists who found it. The same pattern, over and over: when corruption gets exposed in California, Democrats don’t fix the corruption. They go after the people exposing it.
The Republican Party put it best: Newsom’s “election integrity” bill is aimed at stopping law enforcement — not illegal aliens. Not fraudsters. Not the broken system that produces month-long ballot counts. Law enforcement.
