Man, 20s, arrested after car driven at people b in Skerries

A man in his 20s has been arrested after a car was driven at a number of people during an incident in Skerries, Co Dublin.

He is being detained at a garda station in the north Dublin area.

Three teenagers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the incident.

Another male was also reported to have received non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí said they responded to reports of a public order incident at Harbour Road at around 9.30pm last night.

A large number of youths gathered and a fight broke out, gardaí said, and during the course of the incident a car drove at a number of people.

Three teenagers, two females and one male, were taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
